First internship with Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

My first professional experience training begin from 2 January 2013 until 22 March 2013. i also join the STEP program with 16 others. there are 3 department that i attach in this hotel; Club Lounge, Learning and Development ( training management under Human Resource), Lounge on the Park.

The most things I expect about my first internship are being able to contribute all the skill that I learn before in my university during my first and second semester in Taylor’s International University. I expect that I can practice the theory and do it in the real hotel work. I don’t only do it practically there but I also gain knew skill of other type of service. Not only in terms of service skill but also in terms of communicating with guest and handling guest preferences.

In this internship helps me open up my mind of the operation of the real hotel flow and enhance more my skill either my intrapersonal skill or interpersonal skill. However I realize that I need more experience for handling guest complaint. The skill of handling complaint will increase as I have more case to solve and confidence.

3 star hotel working experience with Griyo Avi Hotel

Second internship with Griyo Avi Hotel, Surabaya

My second professional experience training begin from 1 September 2014 until 14 December 2014. There are 3 department that i attach in this hotel; Human resource Department, Purchasing Department, and Finance Department.

In the second internship I expend my knowledge more in the management level of 3 heart of the office department. i become more knowledgable and more professional in handling office work.
